Success in the pruning sessions organized by COARVAL with the collaboration of ARVIPO

At ARVIPO, we continue to invest in the training and dissemination of innovative techniques

In the past months of January and February, COARVAL, in collaboration with ARVIPO and with pruning expert Ramón Sorolla (Metralla), organized a series of informational sessions for farmers. The objective of these sessions was to improve pruning techniques for woody crops, with a special emphasis on regenerative pruning and increased production.

Technical and practical training for the agricultural sector

The sessions were held at various locations across the Valencian Community, with a large turnout of farmers interested in enhancing their knowledge:

  • January 27 – UNIVALL,
    Pobla del Duc Specialized course in stone fruit pruning, focusing on improving production in problematic varieties.
  • January 30 – La Viña Wine Cooperative, La Font de la Figuera
    Session focused on almond and olive pruning, with advanced techniques for regeneration and maximizing yield.
  • February 6 – Casinos Cooperative
    Practical session on almond and olive pruning, focusing on productivity and crop sustainability.
