Technology and Innovation in the Vineyard: Agricultural Drones and Smart Brush Cutters at Wine Innovation Week

By Admin
Agro Smart Robotics and ARVIPO lead conferences and field demonstrations of drones and advanced machinery, showcasing the future of efficient and sustainable viticulture.

The Wine Innovation Week has become a key event for innovation in the wine sector, bringing together experts and companies who bet on technology to optimize work in the field. Among the featured demonstrations, Agro Smart Robotics and ARVIPO presented advanced solutions for vineyard management, combining agricultural drones and cutting-edge brush cutting machinery.

Drones in the Vineyard: Monitoring and Precision

In the presentation “Application of Drones in the Field”, Joan Viñas and Rodrigo Márquez from Agro Smart Robotics shared the potential of drones in viticulture. These tools allow for agronomic monitoring, crop control, and treatment optimization, facilitating more efficient and sustainable vineyard management.

Additionally, attendees were able to witness a field demonstration, where it was shown how drones can collect key information about the vine's state, improve decision-making, and reduce the use of inputs through more precise application.

DRM-70 Brushless Brush Cutter: Innovation in Action

ARVIPO also presented live the DRM-70 Brushless brush cutter, a remote-controlled vehicle designed to optimize brush cutting tasks in the vineyard. During the demonstration, attendees were able to see its ability to work in complex terrains, ensuring efficient, safe, and precise cutting without the need for direct intervention from the operator.

We thank Clúster INNOVI, the event organizers, for providing us with the space to share these advances and continue driving digital transformation in viticulture. Events like this show that technology is a key ally in improving productivity, sustainability, and efficiency in the agricultural sector.
